Overview
This wiki is administered by the staff of the Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) at Athens State University in Athens, Alabama. Athens State is the oldest institution of higher education in Alabama's state educational system. Founded in 1822 as Athens Female Academy, this institution has been in continuous operation for almost two centuries. Today, Athens State University is a thriving institution that utilizes the latest technologies to enhance courses taught face-to-face and to provide students online courses and programs. This wiki is designed to provide our faculty with information and material related to those technologies.
Orientation for New Instructors
Training Workshops
CIT offers training workshops throughout the year on the systems and computer applicatons available to Athens State University instructors. Workshops are offered at set dates & times and are taught in a group setting, often in a computer lab. Combining hands-on practice and peer-to-peer interaction, workshops can be both fun and instructive. CIT Faculty Lab
